Momentum Lab - A Flagship Program

Momentum Lab was developed through years of working with motivated adult learners who felt stuck despite consistent effort. It represents a structured speaking performance system that combines direct correction, measurable checkpoints, and a realistic weekly plan that fits adult schedules. For learners who want more than traditional lessons and are ready to actively train their speaking, Momentum Lab offers a clear and practical path forward.

What is Momentum Lab?

Momentum Lab is a structured 10-week speaking performance program for adult learners who already know some French but feel stuck in real-time conversation. Many learners can understand French reasonably well but still hesitate when speaking, translate mentally, lose their sentence halfway through, or feel that their speaking ability does not reflect what they know. Momentum Lab was built specifically for this stage.

This is not a traditional level-by-level course and not a casual conversation group. Momentum Lab is designed as a training environment, not a classroom. The program focuses on a structured learning map, direct correction that turns into habits, and a realistic weekly practice plan that fits adult schedules.

Each cohort is capped at five participants. Every session is active: participants speak throughout the meeting in focused turns and longer speaking rounds, and receive targeted correction and guided practice on the week’s priority skill. Progress is built through repeatable routines and small, meaningful adjustments over time.

Momentum Lab uses a Dial Approach. Instead of trying to improve everything at once, the program focuses on one key adjustment at a time, then reinforces it through structured repetition. Over the ten weeks, participants train the core speaking dials that most influence real-time performance: speaking flow, pronunciation clarity, listening adaptation, sentence stability, and vocabulary retrieval.

Momentum Lab also includes measurable speaking checkpoints. Participants record three speaking videos using the same prompt at Week 1, Week 5, and Week 10. This makes progress visible and comparable over time, so learners can clearly observe changes in hesitation, clarity, sentence stability, and overall comfort.

The program ends with a Momentum Launch rather than a closing session. Participants leave with improved speaking performance and a practical continuation plan for the next phase of their French.
It’s been 5 weeks that Momentum lab has been launched, we’re almost halfway through the journey and I feel like I can share my feedback and experience, in case anyone is interested in what’s been brewing in the Lab :)))

First of all, I absolutely love the personal approach and feedback that François gives to each participant. Each of us has different goals and different blockages on the path of mastering French, so I really appreciate François digging deeper into identifying what my problem is and providing very focused exercises and setting measurable goals, that help me to see and track my progress. I was really surprised how he was able to see through and tell, that my problem is actually that I feel pretty comfortable speaking at my current level, I can communicate my thoughts, people can understand me, but that also stops me from getting out of my comfort zone and progressing. That was pretty insightful.

Another benefit of the program is actually working in a group and being able to see other participants’ blockages and recommendations, and learn from them too. Atmosphere in the group is very supportive, motivating and friendly. It’s an amazing community of like-minded people that makes learning French much more enjoyable.

It’s not a course on teaching grammar or learning new words in a traditional way, but rather overcoming inner barriers and getting that « click » to gain the momentum and start really speaking French without hesitation.
You don’t know what you don’t know. During this course François helps to see your own blind spots. Once the core problem is identified, it becomes something that you can work with and get it solved.

Before starting the program we were asked to make a short intro video. It took me 4-5 takes, lots of preparation, embarrassment and mistakes to get it done :)))) At week 5 we were asked to make a similar video, and I was able record it in one take, with very little preparation and hesitation, and I sounded much smoother and fluent than before. I obviously see the progress and I’m excited to see where the this program will eventually lead me :)

Thanks if you have read it to this point and sorry for such a long testimonial, I guess I’m just too excited about the course and can’t stop chatting about it 😂😂😂
